Hoggdoll em Lisboaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

A Banda liderada por Pam Hogg toca em Lisboa no dia 11 de Maio, no Wonderland Club. Para quem não saiba, a Pam Hogg é uma das estilistas underground mais respeitadas em Inglaterra. Totalmente "out of the fashion scene", sempre que lança uma nova colecção ou faz um desfile, tem meio mundo à espreita. Nos seus desfiles já participaram a Siouxsie e o Bran Molko, entre outros.

Pam Hogg começou a dar nas vistas no início dos anos 80 e desde então ainda não parou. Segundo a mesma, a sua banda faz um som parecido com os The Cramps on valium... o concerto promete :)

Client - Parte 1: Biografia

Há muito tempo que não andava tão viciado numa banda, como agora. AMO as Client! Pronto, está dito!

Mas vamos ao que interessa... as Client são uma banda electro formada em Roterdão (Inglaterra), em 2003, e facilmente reconhecível pelo seu visual: imaginem 3 hospedeiras em noite de folga numa discoteca neo-romântica dos anos 80.
No início, como não queriam ser reconhecidas pela imprensa, todas as fotos promocionais apenas focavam a roupa ou partes do corpo (especialmente as pernas). Por essa razão, os elementos eram apenas conhecidos por Client A e Client B. Rapidamente, e devido ao forte impacto provocado nos media, o público acabou por descobrir quem estava por detrás da banda: Sarah Blackwood (ex-vocalista dos Dubstar) e Kate Holmes (ex-Frazier Chorus).
Em 2005, o duo passa a trio com a entrada da Client E (Emily Mann). Emilly, para além de baixista, é membro do movimento artístico Stuckist e ficou conhecida do público inglês por ter participado no reallity show “Make Me a Supermodel”. Por cá, ainda não são muito conhecidas mas já tiveram o prazer de tocar na Casa da Música, no final do ano passado. Eu não fui :( o raio do concerto foi numa sexta-feira e eu estava cheio de trabalho... em Lisboa!
